How to add a rack

Racks in DCImanager allow allocating servers. The control panel collects information about servers from every rack and shows the average value.  The racks and collected information can be found in Main menu → Racks. 

Navigate to Main menu → Racks→ Add to add a new rack: 

• Name - enter the name for the new rack; 
• Location - where this rack is located. Severs in this rack will be associated with the selected location. More information can be found under Locations. 
• Notes - any information related to the newly created rack. It will be shown in the "Notes" column;
• Allow server search - select the checkbox to enable the automatic server search option for the newly created rack. More information can be found under Server search.
• Height (unit).
