With BILLmanager, you can create tariff plans and restrict access to them. Such tariff plans will be available only to the clients who already have specific services associated with other tariff plans or product types. Per default, tariff plans are available to all clients.

For example, a service provider offers dedicated servers and shared hosting. For dedicated servers, he creates three tariff plans — "Standard", "Advanced", and "For loyal customers". The provider wants to restrict access to the tariff "For loyal customers". It should be available only to the clients who purchased the tariff "Standard" or a virtual server associated with any other tariff plan. To so, do perform the steps below:

  1. Go to Products  Tariff plans.
  2. Select the tariff "For loyal customers".
  3. Click on Access to view a list of order rules. For all product types, in the Status column, you will see. This means that dependencies are disabled for this tariff.
  4. Specify that a client should order a shared hosting service:
    1. Select "Shared hosting".
    2. Click on On. In the Status column, you will see . This means that dependency from this product type is enabled.

  5. Specify that a client should order the tariff plan "Standard":
    1. Select "Dedicated server".
    2. Click on the button Tariff to view a list of the tariff plans associated with this product type.
    3. Select the tariff plan "Standard".
    4. Click on On. In the Status column, you will see . This means that dependency from this product type is enabled.

    5. Click on Back. In the Status column of the "Dedicated server" product you will see . This means that the dependency is enabled for the selected tariff plans rather than for the product type.

    6. Click on Back. In the Status column of the "Standard" tariff, you will see . This means that dependencies for the tariff plan are enabled.
