Segments allow grouping clients by one or several characteristic groups. Segments can be used for creating marketing newsletters and notifications. A segment defines who will receive notifications. You can even specify a single customer in a segment. 

How to create a segment 


  1. Go to Marketing → Client segments → Add.
  2. Enter the Name and click on Ok
  3. To specify the rules, select the segment → ConditionsAdd.
  4. Select the Type — client selection criteria. Parameters on the next step may vary depending on selected the type. 
  5. Select the Condition group. Conditions in this group will be combined by the OR operator. Groups will be combined by the AND operator. For example, A, B, and C operators can be combined into one group. D and E operators are combined into the second group. The result will be as follows: (A OR B OR C) AND (D OR E).
  6. Click on Next and enter the parameters of the selected condition.

Conditions 


  • All clients of this provider — all clients from the billing system. This rule doesn't have settings;
  • Client group — clients assigned to a certain group; 
  • First expense date — the date of the first expense is compared with the selected date in the past. Enter the comparison rule and period (type and length) that will be deducted from the current date; 
  • Registration date — the date of the client registration is compared with the selected date in the past. Enter the comparison rule and period (type and length) that will be deducted from the current date; 
  • Service in data center — clients who have a service associated with one of the processing modules in the selected data center. The following service statuses are considered " Active " " In progress ", and   " Suspended " . Select the data center;
  • Service connected to the processing module — clients who have a service associated with one of the processing modules. The following service statuses are considered " Active " " In progress ", and   " Suspended " . Select the data center; 
  • Client has services — clients who have a certain service. Enter the tariff plan, order period, status, order date (from to); 
  • Number of paid services — clients who have  " Active " " In progress ", and   " Suspended " services. Enter the tariff plan, comparison condition, number of services of the selected type or tariff plan; 
  • Number of services —  clients who have  " Active " " In progress ", and   " Suspended " services. Enter the tariff plan, comparison condition, number of services of the selected type or tariff plan; 
  • Verified phone number is not specified clients without a verified phone number.  This rule doesn't have settings;
  • No services — clients who don't have a certain service. Enter the tariff plan, order period, and status;
  • Email confirmation status — clients with verified or non-verified email. To use this rule you need to enable the option "Do not send notifications to non-verified emails " in the global settings form;
  • Payments amount — clients with a required amount of payments. The system checks credited payments, but only in a specified currency and associated with the provider who created the promo action. Enter the comparison condition, currency, and amount;  
  • Payments over one year — clients with the required amount of payments over the year. The system checks credited payments over the year, but only in a specified currency and associated with the provider who created the promo action. Enter the comparison condition, currency, and amount;  
  • Expenses amount — clients with the required amount of expenses. The system checks expenses over the selected period but only in a specified currency and associated with the provider who created the promo action. Enter the comparison condition, currency, amount, period type and length ;
  • Account activation required — clients whose accounts have not been activated yet. This rule doesn't have settings;
  • Selected clients — enter unique identifiers of clients (separated by spaces or from a new line).
