Tasks list is a section with information about current and completed operations. The list contains information about operations on all VMmanager objects: virtual machines, cluster nodes, OS templates, etc.

Contents of the tasks list


Click the icon on the right side of the VMmanager menu to go to the tasks list.

 

Section interface

 The tasks list contains the following information:

  • Task name;
  • Task id;
  • Type/object — the platform object on which the operation is performed;
  • Status — the waiting time to start and the status of the task: 
    • In queue;
    • In progress;
    • Delayed;
    • Canceled;
    • Error;
    • Canceling;
    • Successfully;
  • Creation date — date and time when the task was created;
  • Start date — date and time when the task starts;
  • Duration — the duration of the task;
  • End date — the date and time when the task was completed;
  • User — name and IP address of the user who started the task.

Working with the tasks list


To get detailed information about a task, click on its name:

  • the Output tab contains the result of the task. If the task ended incorrectly, the tab will display the part of the log containing the error. The request_id field contains an identifier that helps search for information in the log files. Read more in Platform log files;
  • the Parameters tab contains the parameters with which the task was started.

 

Task card

 To filter the list of tasks, click the icon in the required column and set filter conditions. To use an extended filter, click the icon in the header of the table.

You can abort a task that has been running for longer than 24 hours. To do this, click the image2021-2-9_10-22-27.png icon → Abort in the line containing the task. The task will change its status to "Canceling". After that the task can be removed from the list.

To delete tasks from the list, select them in the column and click Delete button.
