Web interface explained
After you have logged in to Vepp you can create a new website on the start page. There are two ways to do so: Install WordPress template and Configure website manually. For more information please refer to the article How to create a new website. The features that are currently not available are shown in grey.
At the top of the page, you can see the Vepp main menu. Only the Websites section is available during the alpha testing. The sections in grey are under development.
The user menu is located in the top right corner. Click on the avatar to open the form. For more information please refer to the article Profile settings.
After you have logged in to the control panel, you will see the My websites section. This is the start page that displays a list of user's websites. If you have less than 7 websites, the detailed information is displayed for every website.
If you have more than 7 websites, you will see only the brief description:
In this mode, at the bottom of the page, you can change the number of websites that will be displayed.
Operations with website
To perform the main operations with your website open the menu. Click on the website name to open a full list of operations.
When the information is displayed in a short form, users can perform group operations. To do so, select the websites and required actions at the bottom of the page.
For example, you can perform a single operation to suspend several websites. To do so, in the section My websites select the websites, click Suspend, and confirm the operation. The website pages in the browser will display "Error 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable ".
Interface element color
Element colors in the Vepp interface display their statuses:
- red — an element should be installed or configured, an error message;
- green — an element is configured correctly;
- blue — links;
- grey— an element is not accessible. When the system prepares additional services or updates website settings the website in My websites is shown in grey and becomes inaccessible.
