HostBill is a billing system for selling various types of services. With HostBill, you can sell the following to your customers automatically:

  • dedicated servers;
  • IP addresses for dedicated servers;
  • traffic for dedicated servers.

 The billing system performs the following main features: 

  • registers clients and keeps track of their funds; 
  • creates tariff plans; 
  • accepts payments from customers; 
  • manages services automatically: activates, suspends, renews. 

Preparing for integration

Create pools of IP addresses in DCImanager 6, which will be assigned to servers when they are provisioned and released. To do this:

  1. Enter Network → IP pools.
  2. Press Pool general settings.
  3. Select the Pools for deallocation of servers.
  4. Select the Pools for deallocation of servers.
  5. Press Save.

You can select a pool from which addresses will be assigned when issuing servers from a particular rack: go to Racks → select rack → menu kebab.png → Edit → select IP pool → Save.

Note

Only pools with IPv4 addresses can be used to release and provision servers.

Configuring integration

Integration must be configured on the HostBill side. Install the DCI Manager 6 module in HostBill for configuration.

Features of DCI Manager 6 module:

  • managing DCImanager 6 users;
  • search of available servers;
  • provisioning and release of servers;
  • managing server ports and IP addresses;
  • OS installation.
