DCImanager Administrator

Installation

ISPSystem

To install DCImanager, you need license information. If you purchased DCImanager from ISPsystem, you can view this information in your personal account at my.ispsystem.com in the "ISPsystem 6 licenses" section. To install, you need a value from the Token field.

Note

DCImanager uses the Docker virtualization system. By default, it uses networks 172.17.0.0/12. If your equipment uses addresses from these networks, you can change your Docker settings. For more information, see How to change the network used by Docker?

Note

We recommend disabling the SELinux service, as it slows down the operation of the platform and may prevent its correct installation.

Installation steps

  1. Connect to the server via SSH with superuser permissions (root per default).

  2. Download the installation script:

    curl -O http://download.ispsystem.com/6/dci/dcibox/dci
  3. Make it executable:

    chmod +x dci
  4. Run the installation using the license token:

    ./dci install -l token

token —  the value of the Token parameter of your license. You can find it in the Client area my.ispsystem.com on the license information page.

  5. Wait when the installation is completed. You will see the URL to DCImanager:

Link to DCImanager administrator registration page: https://127.0.0.1/auth/setup?token=C50A0BFA55DEDE3343AABE713022A15F
