To temporarily limit access to the server, you can lock the server. When a server is locked, DCImanager 6 prohibits operations on it and disables the switch ports to which the server is connected. When the server is unlocked, DCImanager 6 enables the switch ports to which the server is connected and restores access to operations.

To lock a server, enter Servers → select the server →   menu → Lock Lock.

To unlock a server, enter Servers → select the server →   menu → Unlock Unlock.

Locked servers are marked with the sign in the list. If DCImanager 6 fails to lock or unlock the server, the Server Status column will display information about the errors that occurred. Press more details to get additional information.

To filter servers by blocking criteria, click the filter icon in the Status column → Blocking tab → select criteria to filter.
