Service management in Plesk is based on "subscriptions ". A subscription is associated with a tariff plan. Multiple subscriptions can be created based on a single tariff plan. By default, subscription resource limits match the tariff limits. A service provider can change subscription limits according to his needs, and the changes won't be applied to the corresponding tariff plan.

The service provider can offer subscriptions with a shared IP address or allocate a separate IP for every subscription. To allocate IP addresses you can use a special tool in Plesk.

The billing system manages services using subscriptions in Plesk. For every service, BILLmanager creates a separate account and subscription in Plesk. Subscription limits are the resources that a customer specified when ordering the service in BILLmanager. After the order, a new account will be registered in Plesk.
